Jan 21 & Jan 22 | THE 7TH ANNUAL TRANSPACIFIC ENTREPRENEURIAL VIRTUAL CONFERENCE

January 8, 2021 / CanCham Hong Kong

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association (HKCBA) jointly presents the 7th Transpacific Entrepreneurial Virtual Conference. Hong Kong’s long-standing reputation as a renowned international business and financial hub has provided a launching ground for entrepreneurs and a platform for overseas business expansion into China and Asia for many generations.

Now, more than ever, we will continue to build upon this entrepreneurial spirit and encourage more Canadians to use Hong Kong as a platform to expand their business eastward and vice versa.

Join the two-day virtual conference on January 21st and 22nd, 2021 as industry leaders, entrepreneurs, start-ups and government representatives share how businesses can tap into the vast investment opportunities presented by Greater China and Canada.

AGENDA

The conference will discuss the current opportunities for Canadian, or Canada-related, companies looking to expand into Canada and Greater China and the impact and possibilities the latest Greater Bay Area Initiatives would bring to Hong Kong.

You will hear from three Canadian business organizations in China on how their member companies are using different strategies to successfully do business in China.

There will be a spotlight on our well-known Canadian brand, Tim Horton’s, which has recently expanded its presence in China.

Conference speakers will share practical experience about the start-up and venture capital ecosystems in Canada and Hong Kong where you will hear from angel investors on what they look for in a start-up pitch.

To round off the conference, we will look forward to 2021 and examine how global disruptions have forced many SMEs to find innovative ways to survive and thrive in these toughest of times.
