Whether it is speaking to recruiters for market insights or attending interviews to refresh your skills, these will open-up opportunities. And another important skills and practice is knowing how to build up your personal brand. On 20th June, UBC alumni Shanghai community will welcome Kelvin Zhang (International MBA 2014) for an insightful careers-themed session, talking about why re-harnessing your job seeking skills and creating personal brand are essential to your career?

Outdoor fanatic over the weekends, corporate professional during the week, Kelvin is a living example of channeling positive energy. Currently heading Eaton’s APAC Talent Acquisition department, Kelvin graduated from University of British Columbia with an International MBA degree. He has over 15 years of experience in human resource management and consulting. He is witty and insightful in all matters related to career progression, talent development, and professional coaching. When he is not competing in trekking races or offering talent solutions, he ice-skates with his son and practices his instrument, Bassoon.
