Welcome New Board Director Matthew Chiang
The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai is proud to announce that Mr. Matthew Chiang from Manulife-Sinochem is joining the CanCham Board of Directors.
Mr. Matthew Chiang joined Manulife-Sinochem in March 2021 as Chief Human Resources Officer. Matthew has more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience in the banking, insurance, and consulting industries. Prior to joining MSL, he was the executive Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Communications of the Bank of East Asia China. Matthew has taken on HR leadership roles in China since 2008, responsible for Rewards and strategic projects at Standard Chartered Bank in China, and as Senior Manager of Compensation & Benefits at AIG Home Office in Hong Kong. He is an MBA graduate from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science, Human Resources Management from Hawaii Pacific University.
