The Consulate General of Canada in Shanghai, in partnership with Canadian Provinces, EDC, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, and the Canada China Business Council, together as Team Canada were pleased to organize: Canada @ CIIE 2025.
This year, an expansion of programs was held throughout the entire CIIE period, including Canada @ CIIE Briefing on November 4th, Canada @ CIIE Reception on November 5th and The CIIE Canada Pavilion from November 6th to 10th.

Canada @ CIIE Briefing, November 4th
The Canada @ CIIE Briefing, held at the Grand Kempinski Hotel, brought together themed panel discussions on reshaping cross-border business landscape, followed with business matchmaking sessions that brought together distributors and influencers for in depth conversations.
Canada @ CIIE 2024 Reception, November 5th
The Canada @ CIIE Reception concluded successfully on November 5th at the Okura Garden Hotel.
This exclusive event began with a series of selected signing ceremonies, followed by a dynamic networking reception with over 400 attendees forging business connections, and a keynote address delivered by H.E. Jennifer May, Ambassador of Canada to the People’s Republic of China.
CIIE Canada Pavilion, November 6th – 10th
Building on the success of CIIE 2024’s inaugural Canada @ CIIE Reception and Pavilion, Canada @ CIIE 2025 offers an expanded pavilion range, new events, and strategic initiatives that heighten Canada’s profile.
This year, additional product exhibition and business showcase sessions to support face-to-face dialogues, capped with signing ceremonies.
CanCham Chair, Dr. Mark Ceolin, was invited as CanCham Representative to deliver a welcome remark at the Opening Ceremony.
