The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai proudly hosts the 18th Annual Maple Leaf Ball, Presented by Saimen, “Royal Prestige”, Diamond Sponsor Manulife-Sinochem.
This year marks the 18th Annual Maple Leaf Ball, one of the Shanghai Canadian Chamber of Commerce’s most cherished traditions. More than an evening of elegance, the Ball reflects our commitment to strengthening community ties and celebrating Canadian identity in Shanghai.

The Annual Maple Leaf Ball celebrates not only community, but also creativity through its unique theme and performances. These themes build a bridge between Canadian and Chinese culture, offering guests a chance to experience both tradition and innovation in style.
In past years, we’ve seen Le Bal en Blanc, inspired by Le Dîner en Blanc in Vancouver, where guests dressed in timeless white. Another year brought the glamour of the Roaring Twenties, when top hats and qipaos filled the ballroom, a time when anything and everything felt possible.
枫叶晚宴不仅庆祝社群精神，更通过独特的主题与表演礼赞创意。这些主题在加拿大与中国文化之间架起桥梁，让嘉宾在优雅氛围中同时体验传统与创新。
往届晚宴中，我们曾呈现“白色舞会”（Le Bal en Blanc），灵感源自温哥华“白色晚宴”（Le Dîner en Blanc），嘉宾们身着永恒纯净的白色礼服…我们还举办过重返纸醉金迷的“黄金年代”，礼帽与旗袍共聚舞池。
This year’s theme, Royal Prestige, continues that tradition by inviting guests to enjoy an evening of dignity, excellence, and celebration while adding a touch of regality to one of the Chamber’s most anticipated events.
