Dear CanCham Members,
The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai is regretfully bidding farewell to one of our long-standing board members and Chair of the Board of Directors, as Ms. Jenny Fan is departing from Manulife and Manulife-SinoChem to pursue a new career opportunity. We wish her well in her future endeavors!
As a consequent result, CanCham announces the subsequent vacant Board position will be filled on an interim basis from the date of selection until the end of the current Board term — March 2027.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ELECTED MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Only Voting Representatives for Corporate/Platinum Corporate members, Voting Representative for Associate members, Voting Representatives for Government & Trade Association members, or Professional Individual members are qualified to run for the Board of Directors of the Chamber.
NOMINATION PROCESS
According to CanCham’s Constitution, the Board shall review and elect the interim board member by vote at a subsequent board meeting. As which point the interim board member will be invited to join the board.
