Happy Canada Day from the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai!

Canada Day 2025 was a successful wrap-up on Saturday (June 28), and we had a 7-hour celebration at the heart of Shanghai, in Xuhui District. Here are some highlights of the event:

上海加中商会祝各位加拿大日快乐！

2025年加拿大中国文化交流日在周六（6月28号）圆满结束，我们在上海徐汇举办了长达7小时的庆祝活动。以下是活动亮点：

The celebration began with a warm opening ceremony, CanCham Executive Director Matt Whately, CanCham Chair Jenny Fan, and Honorary President, Consul General of Canada in Shanghai, Jennie Chen, joined us on stage to welcome the community.

Then the traditional CanCham Cake Ceremony and Canada Day Toast celebrated the strong ties between Canada and China, bringing together the CanCham community and the broader Canadian community in China for a special moment.

开幕仪式嘉宾包括：加中商会执行董事Matt Whately先生、加中商会主席范晶女士，以及加拿大驻上海总领事、加中商会名誉会长陈家妮女士。

传统的蛋糕仪式和祝酒环节更是将社区的大家聚集在了一起，共同庆祝这一特别的时刻。

The crowd was energetic, and the stage was full of excitement with performances like the Red Stars Rock Show, young musicians from M Chamber, and DJ Top Hat Matt‘s EDM debut. Various games and challenges were also prepared for kids and families.

舞台上精彩不断，有来自Red Stars的摇滚秀、M乐队的孩子们精彩交响演奏，以及DJ Top Hat Matt的电子舞曲首秀。此外，我们还为孩子们和家庭准备了各类小游戏和挑战。

Joining us at Canada Day this year with many delicious food, from poutine to seafood selections, BBQ, ice wine and more.

今年的文化交流日上我们准备了众多美食，包括加拿大特色肉汁奶酪薯条、海鲜、烧烤、冰酒等。

Around the corner, CanCham also prepared a kids’ area, including an Arts & Craft station, a crawl machine, face painting, and freebies to redeem.
