1, Four million square meters of new housing will be built in the main urban area of Lingang in 2021. Based on an estimate of 100 square meters per unit, there will be 40,000 new residential units in the future. The newly opened commercial area will be about 150,000 square meters.

2, In 2021, the main urban area in Lingang is expected to sell about 6square kilometers of land, of which about 2 square kilometers is residential land. It is estimated that an additional 4 million square meters will be added, and about 40,000 residential units will be supplied.

3, During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, about16-24 public kindergartens, 8-12 public primary schools, 9-12 public junior high schools, 2 nine-year all-through schools, and 4-6 public high schools will be newly built.

4, The No. 2High School Attached to East China Normal University will construct the high school, middle school, and elementary school campuses in Lingang. Specific locations are still waiting to be officially announced.

5, The HighSchool Affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University will also construct a campus in Lingang, with construction starting later this year.

6, For 2021, there is a planned investment of 100billion yuan in fixed assets, a year-over-year increase of 61.8%. The total industrial output value is targeted at 230 billion yuan, a year-over-year increase of 35%.

7, During the year, 25 key municipal transportation projects were promoted, with a total investment of about 15.8 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 5.4 billion yuan. The reconstruction of the expressway of Lianggang Avenue has been completed, and the S2 Haigang Avenue Interchange has been completed and put into operation.

a) What’s next is to accelerate the construction of the Lianggang Express Line, initiate research on the plan for direct rapid rail transit to the city center, start the construction of the Nanfeng Line, promote the construction of external corridor projects such as the second phase of Shanghai Connect and the Shanghai-Zhahang Railway (including the electrification of Pudong Railway), and the planning and construction of the comprehensive transportation hub of the regiment. The newly built open area hub will be used as a city-level hub and reserved for the function of the city terminal.

b) The T1 Demonstration Line of China Transport was officially put into operation on June 30th. The planned construction of T2 and T6 medium-capacity lines, with a total length of 50 kilometers in2025, will be used to create a national smart car demonstration area. 

c) To promote the construction of the Shanghai EastSchool Education Group, landmark projects such as the East Shanghai HighSchool, the No. 2 High School Attached to East China Normal University LingangCampus, and the Lingang Youth Activity Center were completed and put into use.

d) To accelerate the reconstruction and expansion of the Lingang campus of the Sixth City Hospital, two regional medical centers and one public health center will be built, one mental health center will be relocated, and the construction of Si Tuan Ping An Community Health ServiceCenter and other projects will be promoted.

e) Build the Sixth People’s Hospital’s Lingangbranch into a regional public health emergency treatment center.

f) Focus on promoting the construction of LingangAvenue shopping park, Shengang Avenue commercial complex, Haigang Avenuecommercial plaza, Donggang Avenue commercial complex, and other projects.

g) Recreational projects include a sailing training base, a football field, and a large comprehensive stadium. Cultural and tourism projects include the Shanghai Planetarium, Wintastar Shanghai (the world’s largest indoor ski resort), and a resort around Dishui Lake.

h) The newly planned housing construction totals about 16 million square meters and adds about 200,000 new housing units. Build a high-speed optical network and take the lead in building a “dual gigabit” demonstration zone for Lingang 5G and fixed-line networks. Promote and increase the comprehensive development of underground space with a focus on key areas such as the Financial Headquarters Bay and Lianggang Express Line stations.

i) Start the construction of NanhuizuiEcological Park. Actively build a world-renowned brand of”World Coast, City of the Future”.
