Event Recap: CanCham Canada Day 2023
The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai would like to thank everyone who came out to CanCham Canada Day 2023, at West Bund Wonderland on Saturday July 15th!
The festivities kicked off with the annual cake cutting ceremony featuring a delicious cake from Vesta Baking, and words from CanCham Executive Director Matt Whately, CanCham Chair Jenny Fan, and Consul General of Canada in Shanghai Dave Murphy. They highlighted the strong ties between Canada and Shanghai and the importance of the Canadian business community in the city.
A watermelon eating contest, Canada Quiz, and line dancing lesson brought loads of fun for kids and adults alike. The event was made even more memorable with performances from the Red Stars, Frank Bray, and DJ Max. Their energetic performances kept the music going the entire day!
