Comments on People’s Republic of China Social Insurance Law

In early September, foreigners will be required to contribute to China’s social insurance program. While CanCham supports MHRSS in its substantial endeavours to enact a national social security law that seeks to ensure Expats’ welfare in China, the Chamber has submitted to the MHRSS comments and concerns on the impact that the law will have on foreigners. More info

Jean Charest’s China Mission

On the Shanghai stop of Jean Charest’s mission to China, Québec Premier Jean Charest addressed Canadian and Chinese business leaders and spoke about the Plan Nord and Québec’s business potential.
