Being co-located in the Consulate General of Canada in China, the Ontario Trade & Investment Office in Shanghai is the first point of contact for business people in China and Ontario who seek more information and assistance about doing business in each other’s market. The Office carries the broad economic development mandate of the Provincial Government of Ontario in the East and South China (Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Hainan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Hong Kong and Macao Special Administration Region).

The Office facilitates bi-lateral trade and investment between Ontario and China, fosters science & research collaboration and raises Ontario’s profile. The Office promotes Ontario products and services, connects Ontario companies to Chinese buyers, and helps Chinese companies in seizing investment opportunities in Ontario and setting up a presence.
