- Engineering related or similar technical background with at least 5 years of experience in the field.
- Experience in serial production in the automotive industry will be an advantage.
- Define the quality strategy and policy direction, create and implement proactive solutions to assist with the achievement of the business objectives.
- Ensure that the quality management systems are suitable to the needs of the automotive industry but also are effective and efficient enough to guarantee the highest possible quality standard of the products.
- Implement IATF 16 949 management system and ensure it meets the requirements of the business whilst ensuring quality is always at the forefront of the business.
- Monitor, maintain and improve the quality of the products.
- Initiate and develop standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.
- Ensure colleagues are engaged in manufacturing and inspection of parts. Ensure they have continuous control over materials and processes, including sample manufacturing.
- Involvement in problem solving activities.
- Representative of the client internally. Proactive customer liaison.
- Completion of non-conformance and customer complaints through 8D investigation reports.
- Undertake client visits off site. Improve the overall quality of our suppliers.
- Manage monthly monitoring of their performance.
- Establish annual audit plan to drive quality systems evaluations and approvals products / process. Propose suggestion plans and advise.
- Completion of PPAP.
- Ensure the follow-up of the production quality.
- Validate the commissioning of new facilities.
- Ensure the compliance of internal procedures in project management.
- Define the new production system with production manager.
- Follow the different action quality plan.
- Carry out Internal & External Audit.
- Lean Manufacturing. Kaizen / 5S.
- Total Quality Management | Lean | Six Sigma.
- TS16949:2009 | IATF 16949 | VDA 6.3.
- Must have experience in IATF 16 949. Must have VDA experience.
- Must have experience in Audit, Internal Audit and Supplier Audit.
- Need to have an open mind and have strong leadership skills. Need to train 2 employees (in SQA & IQC)
- Qualities such as responsiveness, creativity, flexibility, autonomy, teamwork and organizational priorities, stress resistance and trainer are what we are looking for.
- Microsoft Office + ERP Knowledge.
- Bilingual in Chinese & English – German language is welcome.
