Over 950 Canadians Celebrate Canada Day in Shanghai

Over 950 Canadians and friends celebrated the 146th anniversary of Canada with CanCham Shanghai at the Bund Beach on June 30. “The success of Canada Day in Shanghai shows how strong the relationship between Canada and China is,” says Carley Pulford, Executive Director of CanCham Shanghai.

160 People Attend Fête Nationale du Québec Celebrations in Shanghai

One hundred-sixty people attended the celebrations held by theCanCham Shanghai in partnership with the Quebec Office in Shanghai and Canadian National Railway on June 22. Celebrations were held at Zeal where guests enjoyed drinks and Quebec music.

Canadian Alumni Committee Hosts 4th Annual Scavenger Hunt

On July 13, over 20 teams involving 88 alumni participated in the annual Shanghai Hustle citywide scavenger hunt organized by CanCham Shanghai’s Canadian Alumni Committee.

As of July 1, 2013, Canadians age 16 and older have the choice of applying for a 5-year or 10-year passport for both first-time applications and renewals. All children’s passports are issued for a maximum of 5 years. Read more
