POSITION DETAILS

Job Title :Purchasing Engineer(supplier Development)

Location :Shanghai

Department:Purchasing Department

Reports to (Position) :Jing Liang, Director of Purchasing

Subordinate Positions:  PurchasingAssistant

Work Time:Monday to Friday

JOB FUNCTIONS /RESPONSIBILITIES

•     Understand machining, understand product drawings, be familiar with product production process, BOM analysis and other product cost accounting means, make inquiry, judge the rationality of supplier’s quotation, and make reasonable quotation;

•     Product management and development: master the product model and price of the order. Regular purchase of products, reasonable control of costs. Help in the development of new products and customer needs.

•     Be responsible for supplier audit, inquiry and price negotiation / terms negotiation, and clarify all contract terms;        

•     Complete other tasks assigned by supervisor                                    

JOB REQUIREMENT

Education

Bachelor degree or above, mechanical engineering, electronic and electrical engineering background

Working Experience

More than 5 years purchasing related working experience

Essential Qualification, Skills or Abilities

•  Familiar with Auto CAD and Solid Works software

•  Good negotiation and communication skills, customer awareness and cost awareness;

•  Work well under time pressure

•  Good at English reading and writing;

•  Be responsible for the sorting and arrangement of all kinds of documents of the purchasing department;

•     Assist the purchasing director in dealing with the daily affairs of the Department;

•     Analysis, summary and prepare reports

•     Complete other tasks assigned by managers

JOB FUNCTIONS /RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be able to handle three kinds of transportation business independently: import and export by sea; import and export by air; bonded logistics park;
  • Familiar with the business process and of foreign trade import and export, international and domestic logistics operation. Customs broker qualification certificate is preferred;                                                        
  • Daily management of logistics suppliers and handling of transportation logistics                                                          
  • Tracking and verification of logistics suppliers, and management of customer issues;                                
  • Complete other tasks assigned by supervisor

More than one-year logistics experience

JOB FUNCTIONS /RESPONSIBILITIES

Enquiry: Enquiry according to customer’s product requirements, develop suppliers

Order: be able to independently complete daily purchase order operation, timely and accurately place orders to supplier

Delivery: follow up the purchase progress to ensure that the ordered materials are delivered to our company on time, in quantity and with high quality     

Reconciliation and payment: reconciliation, payment arrangement and review, and submit to the financial department to arrange payment, and timely collect invoices.                                                                         

Product management and development: master the product model and price of the order. Regular purchase of products, reasonable control of costs. According to the changes of the market, we should develop new products in time to prepare for further expanding the business of new and old customers.

Strengthen communication and contact with suppliers to ensure sufficient supply, stable supply quality and accurate delivery time.
