CanCham Shanghai to Host Lunch with Teck CEO Don Lindsay in March 2014

Shanghai, February 26, 2014 -The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai (CanCham Shanghai) today announced that it will host a special lunch with Teck President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Don Lindsay. The event will take place at New Heights on March 20, 2014.

Mr. Lindsay will give the keynote address on the theme of opportunities, and challenges, facing Canada and China in the resource sector. Mr. Lindsay joined Teck as President in January 2005 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in April 2005. Before joining Teck, Mr. Lindsay was President of CIBC World Markets and led the banka��s Investment and Corporate Banking Division as well as the Asia Pacific Region. Mr. Lindsay has a B.Sc., (Hons.) Mining Engineering from Queens University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

CanCham Shanghai last welcomed Mr. Lindsay in December 2012 when he delivered a keynote speech on the importance of sustainability in the mining industry and how Teck has been putting its sustainability strategy into action.
